Storage-level encryption¶

Storage-level encryption is a variant of encryption at rest. Encrypting data stored on a storage to protect it from unauthorized access. This security measure ensures that data remains secure even if physical security controls fail, such as in cases of stolen hardware or unauthorized access to storage media.
