Configuring Maintenance Windows¶
ScyllaDB Cloud periodically performs cluster maintenance, including database upgrades and functionality enhancements. Every cluster you bootstrap has the following default maintenance windows:
Monday 05:00 - 08:00 (GMT)
Wednesday 05:00 - 08:00 (GMT)
The time displayed in the ScyllaDB Cloud application is automatically adjusted to your local timezone.
Configuring Custom Maintenance Windows¶
Available with the Professional plan and above
You can configure custom maintenance windows to specify your preferred time of day when ScyllaDB Cloud can perform maintenance. For example, you can limit maintenance to Monday and Tuesday nights when the cluster workload is low.
Go to Maintenance Windows via the drop-down in the top right corner.
Select the day and time slot to set up maintenance windows for all the clusters in your ScyllaDB account. You must specify at least two maintenance windows.
You can specify up to four maintenance windows per cluster.
